CEREC Vita Blocks
VITA CAD-Temp for CEREC®
The VITA CAD-Temp composite blocks consist of a fibre-free, homogeneous, high-molecular and cross-linked acrylate polymer with micro filler.
CAD-Temp is used for the fabrication of multi-unit, fully or partially anatomical long-term temporary or provisional, crown & bridge restorations with up to 2 pontics using the Cerec milling systems. The light-curing veneering composite VITA VM LC is used for building up or individualizing the shade of partially anatomical restorations. The VITA CAD-Temp acrylate polymer blocks are available in the 4 shades 0M1T, 1M2T, 2M2T, 3M2T and in the size CT-40 (15.5 x 19 x 39 mm).
Advantages:
- Very high material homogeneity due to the industrial polymerization process. (derivative of high quality denture tooth technology)
- Well-balance combination of tensile strength and elasticity for optimal clinical use.
- Excellent abrasion resistance.
- High dimensional stability since the material features a considerably higher strength than conventional composite materials for chairside temporary restorations.
- Temporary restorations made from VITA CAD-Temp can be removed from the die several times without the risk of fracture.
- No time-consuming removal of excess material.
- MMA-free composite, hence no irritation of the gingiva and the pulp.
- With no mixing of any materials errors and polymerization shrinkage are avoided and a high level processing reliability is ensured.
- No polymerization heat.
- Can be perfectly milled with the diamond milling tools of the in Lab or CEREC system.
- No distortion even with extended time in the mouth.
- Lasting colour stability and aesthetics.
- Natural fluorescence.
- Can be customized with the light-curing veneering composite VITA VM LC.
- Outstanding polishing characteristics using the standard tools.
- CAD/CAM manufacturing ensures simple and quick reproducibility of the temporary restoration.
All provisional cements can be used for cementing.
Vita Bloc Mark II
Clinically proven for many years.
VITA is the most experienced materials specialist in industrially manufactured ceramic blocks. Vita have been producing the VITABLOCS for the CEREC system clinically proven 14 million times over – since its introduction in 1985.
Restorations made of VITABLOCS demonstrate a very high survival rate. After 18 years a 84.4% probability of success was measured. That corresponds to the gold standard. Restorations made of VITABLOCS Mark II for CEREC/inLab consist of a fine-structure feldspar ceramic and demonstrate
abrasion properties which correspond to those of natural tooth enamel. Restorations made of VITABLOCS can be reliably etched & bonded to the natural tooth substance.
This stabilizes the remaining tooth substance and results in clinical stability due to the long term marginal seal.
Excellent value
With VITABLOCS Mark II you will be able to mill more restorations per unit of time, and with less wear to your instruments, than with any other ceramic material for CEREC and inLab. With a set of instruments you can, for example, mill up to 80% more inlays than from competitors' glass ceramic.
Unparalleled aesthetics
Restorations made of VITABLOCS feature natural translucency,
are more resistant to discolourations and can be very easily adapted
to the shade of the neighbouring teeth. The degree of fluorescence
is equivalent to that of natural teeth.
High quality finishing can be achieved either by hand polishing extra-orally or intra-orally or by glazing in the furnace applying Vita porcelain stains if required
VITABLOCS® TriLuxe for CEREC®
Ceramic blocks featuring three different color intensity levels (chroma) in one block made of Mark II fine-particle feldspar ceramic.
With this material attribute, it is possible to reproduce more closely colour transitions found in natural teeth with regard to translucency and intensity and to in effect make the restoration ‘invisible’ without the need to routinely apply porcelain stains to the surface.
VITABLOCS TriLuxe for CEREC/inLab are particularly suitable for the fabrication of anterior and posterior crowns, large inlays /onlays as well as for veneers.
VITABLOCS® TriLuxe Forte for CEREC®
The VITABLOCS TriLuxe forte are based on the VITABLOCS TriLuxe which have proven their clinical reliability in numerous successful restorations. TriLuxe Forte consists of finer nuances of the shade transition from the enamel to the neck area with a greater overall differentiation of chroma between neck & enamel.
The VITABLOCS TriLuxe forte are mainly recommended for anterior and posterior crowns but can also be used for veneers and larger inlays & onlays. |
