Innovation in the CAD/CAM Technology With IPS e.max CAD LT you can benefit from an innovative material which offers more than pure performance. In fact, it effectively combines strength, esthetics and efficiency. For the first time ever, fully anatomical, all-ceramic crowns can be directly fabricated chairside with IPS e.max CAD. Subsequently, conventional cementation can be used to efficiently and easily place the restorations. You can take advantage of the impressive material properties of IPS e.max CAD. The lithium disilicate glass ceramic is efficiently milled in its #soft# state in the milling unit. At this stage, the material exhibits an unusual bluish colour. During a subsequent short (approx. 30 min) crystallization process in the Programat CS, the IPS e.max CAD restorations attain their final physical properties including the high strength of 360 MPa, which enables conventional or self-adhesive cementation. In addition, the restorations aquire the desired aesthetic properties, such as tooth colour, excellent translucency and brightness. |

In addition, the product range features polychromatic blocks called IPS Empress CAD Multi which are a special highlight of the system.  Always the right block The extensive assortment of blocks allows you to choose the one that best suits your case requirements. The exceptional glass ceramic is available in two levels of translucency: HT (High Translucency) and LT (Low Translucency). Within these translucency levels, there is a choice between Chromascop and A-D shades. The blocks are supplied in six sizes, which are adjusted to the different indications. In addition to the monochromatic blocks, the product range includes multi-coloured blocks called "IPS Empress CAD Multi".
